If you are coming to Boquete, it is the perfect moment to find out, as Boquete is considered to be for coffee what Bordeaux is for wine, and it is indeed one of the best coffee producers in the entire world. Panama’s coffee has been considered to be the best coffee in the world for 3 years in row, and if you are visiting Boquete, you cannot leave without learning more about its coffee production. We will visit Sr. Tito’s small 5 hectare farm called Finca La Milagrosa located in the Jaramillo region of Boquete. This farm produces 100% organic specialty coffee. He produces one of the best coffees in the world, including the famous Geisha coffee. You will learn the difference between Arabica, American coffee, Italian and French roast and you will get to taste them all! You will learn everything about the coffee process, from planting to brewing. Sr. Tito will also let you roast your own beans, so that you can get a better feel for it. The tour departs from our Explora Ya office, and can be organized in the morning (9am) or in the afternoon (2pm). The tour lasts 3 hours in total. During rainy season, when it gets too wet we only offer morning tours.
