This waterfall is named Ja Wakta by the indigenous people of Chiriqui, meaning “Flat Rock”. This beautiful waterfall has an amazing natural swimming pool at its base. This wonderful place is located in Caldera on the way to Chiriquicito. You will need to hike only 15 minutes to find this national treasure and have a blast.
What to bring? Sunblock, swimsuit, towel, tennis shoes or water shoes, bottled water and a camera (preferably waterproof).
